The Living Room is an urban flexspace – ideal for various types of events and activities. From meetings and workshops, to product launches & cocktail parties over photo shoots & exhibitions to co-working space. The Living Room is for you and for everything intimate with a luxury feel and an unconventional twist.
The Living Room is designed by the talented Ghent interior architect Pieter Thooft. This unique multiflex space has a beautiful view of the historic site De Bijloke, is 70 m² in size and has the necessary facilities such as presentation screen with HDMI connection, 2 white boards, free wifi, kitchen, minibar with nespresso machine and a beautiful terrace.
This inspiring multi-flex room has a seating capacity of 20 (meeting setting) to 30 people (theater style) and a standing capacity of 50 people.
As an extra asset, The Hide has a central location in the heart of Ghent. At their front door there is a direct tram connection to Flanders Expo and Gent Sint-Pieters station, the Woodrow Wilson administrative center (the South) is a 10-minute walk away. The inner ring of Ghent and the roads to the motorway (E40, E17) are easily accessible by car (500m and 1 km). The Hide also has a private parking for 5 cars.

The Hide offers 7 luxury city flats in the centre of Ghent: easy to reach by car or public transport and within walking distance of the historical center. You can stay at The Hide for any period from a few nights up to a few months. Our fully-equipped city flats focus on comfort, functionality and design. They’re all a relief to your typical hotel rooms. Some of the flats have their own balcony, but the terrace of our event space and the garden by the waterside are open to all. With only 6 other residents in the mansion, peace, quiet and privacy are a given. We like things to be free of any hassle, just as much as you do.
